Discover the Region
Ansião is located in central Portugal, between Coimbra and Leiria. Equidistant from Lisbon and Porto, it is a place too close to everything to avoid visiting.
Privileged Location
Municipality of Ansião
Served by the IC8 and A13 highways, benefiting from proximity to the Northern railway line and the A1 (just 20 km away), Ansião is a perfect starting point to explore central Portugal.
Set within a massive limestone plateau that gives it unique landscapes and well-preserved locations, the municipality invites hiking, bird and plant watching, and cycling.
In summer, the rock is dotted with rare flora species in shades of pink, white and yellow. In winter, green renews itself in all its splendor, shaped only by stone walls that adorn the hills.
